Plain-Language Summary#

The short version, for anyone who saw the anyIP SDK consent dialog in an app. The sections that follow are the binding rules our business customers accept.

  • If you tap Accept, business customers of anyip.io can view publicly accessible websites through your internet connection and IP address. The app may offer you something in return.
  • They see the same public pages any visitor in your country would see: a flight price, a product's review score, the text of an ad, the results for a search. See What is public web data?
  • They never receive your name, your device details, or anything stored on your device. They receive the page content and the country the request came from.
  • They may not log into accounts, send messages, attack or overload systems, commit fraud, or collect anything behind a login or paywall. Banking, other financial-institution, and government websites are blocked by default.
  • Every customer is checked and approved before it can touch the network, accepts this policy, and loses access if it breaks the rules.
  • Declining changes nothing in the app. If you said yes and change your mind, turn sharing off in the app's settings or use our web opt-out page.

Who This Applies To#

This policy binds every business customer of anyip.io, the platform through which ELEGANT NETWORKS PTE. LTD. sells access to the network ("customers"). Customers come from many industries and can include banks, universities, e-commerce companies, and consumer brands.

Two different questions:

  • Who may buy access: any business that has been checked and approved, which can include a bank or a university.
  • Where requests may go: only to publicly accessible websites, and never to banking, other financial-institution, or government websites, except as described under Blocked destinations.

So a bank can be a customer that checks retail prices or its own ads, but it still cannot send requests to online banking websites: the destination rule applies to every customer.

For app users, this policy is not an agreement with us; it tells you what customers may do with your connection after you opt in. Your own terms are the End User License Agreement and the Privacy Policy; app developers are covered by the Publisher Terms of Service.

What Customers May Do#

Customers may use the network only to fetch publicly accessible content: pages any visitor in the same country could open without an account, a password, a payment, or another access control. The approved purposes are:

  • Comparing and tracking prices (price intelligence). Example: the fare for a London to New York flight on an airline's website.
  • Making sure ads are real and not scams (ad verification). Example: the text of an ad on a social network and the page it leads to.
  • Protecting a brand by finding counterfeit listings and unauthorized sellers. Example: a marketplace listing that uses a brand's name and photos.
  • Market research and web statistics. Example: the average review score of a product on an e-commerce site.
  • SEO monitoring. Example: where a company's website appears in the search results shown in your country.
  • App and QA testing. Example: a company checks that its own website or app loads correctly for visitors in your country.
  • Academic and research datasets. Example: public news articles gathered for a university study.
  • Public web data for AI and research datasets, limited to publicly accessible content. Example: the results shown for a search such as "best pizza in town". Never logged-in, paywalled, or otherwise access-restricted pages.

A purpose not listed here is not approved unless we have agreed to it with that customer in writing.

Whatever the purpose, a customer receives only the page content and the country of the exit connection. It never receives the user's identity, device details, or any other personal data.

What Is Never Allowed#

Customers must not use the network to:

  • log into any account, or gain or attempt any other unauthorized access;
  • try passwords or stolen credentials against any service (credential stuffing or password spraying);
  • overload, disrupt, or attack any system (denial of service);
  • send spam, or messages of any kind;
  • commit fraud, including advertising fraud and click fraud;
  • obtain or distribute unlawful content;
  • collect content that is not publicly accessible, including anything behind a login, a paywall, or another access control;
  • do anything unlawful where the customer is based or where the user's connection is located.

Blocked Destinations#

Our gateway refuses requests to banking, other financial-institution, and government domains by default. This applies to every customer, whatever its industry.

We may unlock a narrow, lawful exception for a specific customer, and only after it passes additional identity and business verification (KYC and KYB). An exception is tied to that customer and purpose; it never reopens these destinations for the network as a whole.

How We Enforce This#

These are the controls we operate. They describe our process, not a promise that misuse can never happen.

  • Every customer is checked and approved before it can touch the network, and accepts this policy as part of its agreement with us.
  • Every request passes through our own gateway, so we know which URL each request targets, and the gateway refuses blocked destinations.
  • We monitor the network for abuse and investigate reports.
  • Customers that break these rules lose access.
  • We cooperate with law enforcement and with the operators of affected websites and platforms.

Report Misuse#

If you believe the network is being used against these rules, for example because your website is receiving unwanted traffic from it, email contact@anyip-sdk.com with any IP addresses, timestamps, and URLs you have. We will investigate and reply.

App users who simply want to leave the network do not need to report anything: turn sharing off in the app's settings or use the web opt-out page.

Changes to This Policy#

We may update this policy as the network, the law, or customer needs change. The current version always lives at this address. If a change materially affects what you consented to, the anyIP SDK consent dialog will ask you again before it applies to you, as the End User License Agreement describes.
