How anyIP SDK works

Your users choose whether to share unused internet bandwidth, helping businesses access public web information. Your app earns revenue in return. Here's how it works, and how users stay in control.

How it works, step by step

1. Users choose to participate

Inside your app, the SDK shows its own consent screen. It explains sharing in plain language, and the accept and decline buttons carry equal weight. Nothing runs until the user says yes.

2. Unused bandwidth is shared

When a user accepts, their device shares some of its unused internet bandwidth. In technical terms, the device becomes an exit point in a residential proxy network: customer requests use the device's internet connection and IP address to reach publicly available websites. This only happens while the app is open with valid consent, and when the device has enough resources.

3. Businesses access public websites

Businesses buy access through anyip.io. Each customer is checked and approved before accessing the network, and agrees to our Approved Use Policy. Their requests pass through our gateway, go out through a participating device, and bring back the public web page. Nothing about the user comes back with it.

4. Users stay in control

Each time a user opts in or opts out, that choice is recorded as a signed consent record. If the user withdraws, sharing stops right away, whether they turn it off in the app, uninstall the app, or use our web opt-out page.

anyip.io is where businesses buy proxy access for market research, price intelligence, making sure ads are real (ad verification), and brand protection. Each customer is checked and approved before accessing the network and agrees to our Approved Use Policy, which lists the approved purposes, what is never allowed, and the destinations our gateway blocks by default. anyip-sdk.com, this site, is where app developers add participating devices to the network and get paid for them.

Because one company runs both services, the same team is responsible for the whole chain, from the consent screen in your app to each customer request. That is what lets us enforce consent at the gateway: no consent record, no traffic.
